LokiLoki is the horse that started it all, the OG. He is a 15-year-old mixed gelding who was rescued from a feed lot in 2018 near Olympia, WA. He is the tallest horse in the herd at 15.3 hands. He was named after the Norse God of Mischief and absolutely lives up his namesake. He has been known to move brushes or steal a treat when no one is looking. He is very gentle when taking food, has a goofy disposition, and loves attention.

KasimirKasimir is a 5-year-old American Mustang gelding. He was gathered from a range near Warm Spring, OR and adopted, un-gentled, from the Bureau of Land Management holding pen in 2019. His name means “bringer of peace” in Polish and we call him Kas for short. Angela was the first person to handle and train him. He has a very calm demeanor and is the leader of the herd. He loves scratches and always gives a soft nicker when he sees you.

MikolajMikolaj is a 13-year-old Polish Arabian gelding. He was adopted in January 2020. He and Angela rode countless miles together exploring the Washington wilderness. His name means “victory of the people” in Polish and we call him Mikos for short. He has a very sensitive personality, and it takes a while to earn his trust. Once you have it, he is very sweet and loyal. He sticks his tongue out when he drinks water, and he loves to give kisses and wave hello when he sees you.

SiriusSirius is a 12-year-old Egyptian Arabian gelding. He was adopted in August 2020. He was Mikos’ trail buddy and became an official member of our herd when we moved from Washington State to Tennessee. He was named after the Harry Potter character Sirius Black, as he is dark bay in color. While he is the shortest horse at 14 hands, he will out trot all his brothers. He has a very calm demeanor and is great with children. When he is really relaxed, he gets a lazy bottom lip.

WillieWillie is a 20-year-old American Mustang gelding. He was gathered from the Clan Alpine Herd Management Area of NV in 2006. He was rescued by the Indiana Horse Rescue from a neglect situation in 2016. He was adopted and trained by Mustang Maddy, who donated him to our herd in November of 2020. He has a very sweet and laid-back demeanor. He loves to relax and hang out/stand near you.
